Thanks. Been working my azz off lately. 0530 to 1830, 6 days a week with an in house fiber project. Installed about 90k feet of 72sm fiber.
I had a few deep cracks that I filled in with fiberglass bondo then I scuffed the rest up then I cleaned it off with alcohol 2-3 times before I started gluing the vinyl down.

I almost sold this one but I talked myself out of it. Far to many good times with the old girl.

I like how the paint turned out, almost looks like a satin silver finish on it. Very cool!

I have same question and looking at photos above, looks like TrafficTechII left old vinyl on. When I do mine, I may remove vinyl where vents mount so it'll fit better.

I leaning toward a weber carb. Trying to read everything I can about em first.
I like the idea of getting rid of all the 31 year old non working smog crap.

I went with the 32/36 weber from LCE I also did the complete desmog which LCE sells. I followed kawa636 thread in this forum
I also went with the manual chock version to have complete control.
I won't know how good it works untill I get my truck back together, but 30 year smog equipment on the trucks probably haven't worked correctly for 25 years

Good eye mbomberz1. I wanted to try something different. I was able to get (4) coats using 1/2 of the paint kit I bought.
I had a lot of problems because the day I painted it was 100f with 80% humidity in my friends booth. I may re-shoot it next winter.

Nice Kenwood stereo,
Got the gauges and housing off Amazon. $40 something out the door. I also got the cooper tube kit for the oil $10.
Oil and water and mechanical.
Wife got me the radio for my Birthday that year. Its funny for the past 20 plus years its always been my 30th birthday.
