What kind of pipe did you use? Did you got it from auto parts or muffler shop? Also what kind of angle do I need to do this mod? Thanks.

this is the original setup with the closed ending using the manifold end .for that i just used some peices of metal ,2 actualy ,one over the other ,and i cutted them in a circle patern,so it could fit in there ,than i placed the manifold seal on it and to finish i bolted the crossover pipe end on top of that and i sealed it with some muffler compound ,but the compound is really not doing anything i just putted some cause i had it close to me.

this is the new pipe ,its not yet finished ,so ill be comming up with mesurments next time. but for now its fits perfectly .and it does not come close to any wires ,or the releasse cylinder, but i wont take any chances ,im gonna use some heat proof tape on thoses. as for the pipe its gonna be all welded (dont worry)

Thanks man, I'm looking into this mod myself, I am in the process of diong the HG and transmission swap and will do this mod, but have to wait until you are done. I would like if you list what angle did you use on those pipe so it'll be easy way to go and purchase them easier. Why two muffler? It doesn't seem like you are following as the picture you post, will this mod mate before the O? Sensor be located? Thanks a lot. GL man.

If you are going to weld it, you should have bought mandrel bends instead of pressure bends for your exhaust pipes. That will reduce heat and help flow & performance.

as for the problem with the distributor not getting to sit in position ,i found the problem. plz no comments: i putted my heads THE WRONG SIDE. ahhh
,when i first see that,i was really pissed then i just figured out,its all good , there exacly the same ,exept the mount for the power stering and the distributor hole,so i putted shims behind the P-ST bracket and retaped the dist hole and voila.! anyway ,for the cheif mod heres the update: i got the pipe welded and im cutting the last peice that conect everything up.

Just so you know your cam caps will not line up correctly on the heads, they are/need to be line bored. If you want your engine(topend) to last you better remove the heads and switch them to the correct side. You now have mismatched caps right to left.

i know it sounds crazy but the cam caps fits perfecly,no mismatch watsever, and i sealed them anyway with some high heat and oil ressitant packing. and i cant afford to switch the heads ,its gonna cost me another set of head gasket and alot of pain in the butt. so there is no turning back now.
