i got 240 000 km on it ,never did hg job before. as for the oil pump i dunno about that ,and i gotta take the oil pan out ,anyway i dont know for now.

laquer thinner can eat away any rubber seals/gaskets...that's not a good thing to use either.

Here dude. Try Seafoam. Seriously. Using all that stuff is just begging for other things to need replacement ASAP.

im gonna hopefully finish tomorow ,and ill be posting my ultimate mod;chief pipe mod; it consist to cancel the manifold joining the left side cylinders with the right side cylinders ,how ,well i will use my old pipe to make a down pipe from the left side (from front of car) ,ill weld it in place and then ill make a shortcut right up my tranny and to finish im gonna connect that to my new manifold thats comming down (stock stuff on the right side),right before my o2 sensor. as for the major hole left from the right side ill weld somethin to fill it good. lots of pics comming soon...

ok so heres the new pics of last weekend working on the truck,ive been trying to adjust those valve shims (mesure,replace) and its darn hard without a digital micrometer.anyway.. heres the remachined heads ,it was like opening a Christmas present. and i torque them in place wit 33lb feat than 2 times 90 degree.[IMG][/IMG]

the heads are on,cost me a total of 363.68 canadian dollars to get my heads cleaned ,valve job,new exaust valve cyl numb 6,new oil seals..,not too bad! i made a mistake before,it was actualy the exaust valve that was chop of ,i gotta picture here.[IMG][/IMG]

the chief pipe mod is making its way,its just that i didnt had any time for it last weekend but next one is the last one so imma get it done.

this is the side thats gonna receive the other pipe just before o2 sensor from the left side cylinders ,just like headers but with stock stuff.

and it just wont freaking fit??? i meen i took it out previously from that same hole. anyway the cam gears get right into the distributor gears its the hole part that just wont slide in leaving a gap like that: ON THE LEFT OF PICTURE!!
