Ok good, however you are forgetting one liiiittle thing.

Notice that the passenger side head casing is 180* rotated when compared to the driver's side when they are both bolted to the block.

When oem the heads were line bored to the cams, when you switched heads, the cams are essentially installed backwards relative to the origional position. This probably will bite you on the ass unless you use some really good 20w50 oil or are lucky.

I applaud your effort and great creativity though and hope this works out for you!


As far as mods to help mpg - new O2 sensor from toyota (toyota OEM only) and Weasy2k's cams. 400 bux for about 3mpg and 15-20hp.

i just have to say one more thing about the whole,heads switching issue..
alright maybe its just wrong ,but even if you where from TOYOTA i still wont care a damn,cause thats just how i am. you can call me stupid ,dude call me wathever you want ,seriously if seizing hapens well life goes on.. ill get another one and ill start back from nothin . until then i already made 1200 km with it since,and the rebuild was a bomb,its great now i really like it,im just always looking at the oil level and make sure its always full.and ill make the next oil change in advance thats it.i just want to say thx to poeple who suported me..
