3.slow transfercase help

Im wondering if a 4cylinder transfer case thats mated to an 85 4cylinder tranny will work on the 3.slow?

A friend of mine is looking to get my dual cases and doesnt know if they can fit on his 3.slow tranny

You'll then need a V6/5-speed adapter:

Yes he will need the V6 to 4cylinder adaptor from marlin $349, I am not sure how much length that adds to the drivetrain, I just did my dual cases, and the rear case output flange was pretty close to the upper crossmember, I dont think there was much room left for additional drivetrain length withouth fabrication work.
