I have a 94 4X4 pickup with a 3.0 V6 and the front 3 inches of the crank snapped off (although it still runs), which leads me to my question. Will the 3.0 V6 in a Camry work in my truck? I need a good used engine and see alot of Camry engines for sale.

i actually have a friend that tried to do it for the dual overhead, and failed horribly, the computer for the 3vzfe can't support 4x4, no matter what you do it won't run right. figure it out and make some money if you can, but honestly you are wasting time trying. sorry dude.

 

That thread isnt any better than this one. Haha. I had a hard time finding another 3vze for my truck, ended up buying a whole 95 runner and parting it out. I was able to make my money back selling off the rest of the truck, so the motor and other parts were free. Just took a while to sell everything off.

 

New crank+engine rebuild?
