i bet you could get a recall on your truck man!@! doesnt matter if the body is shot!!
try that first...
mounting ifs toa 2wd wont happen...
if your planning on spending big bucks and going to a solid axle it can...
you could prolly find a runner with a dead engine ...swap yours in..
do you want a pick?? or will a runner do???
WHEN EVER YOU BUY A TRUCK BRING A HAMMER and tap the frame...
if its not solid please dont buy it!

NO THEY WILL buy the truck from you but htw looks of it you would get the lowest amount.. say 1 or 2 grand.. that one they will prolly crush on site so take and tires or anything off before you go!!
but yeah call and see with your vin it cant hurt..if not keep searching craigs list for a frame or cheap 4-500 dollar truck and part it out!

these trucks mainly rot out by the gas tank, then it expands from there, take the box off pressure wash frame inside and out and beat with a hammer, if the frame seems like it is beyond fixing but the frame cab forward is ok , what i have done to a few trucks now is build my own frame , just make sure your on a cement floor and the truck does not move, so your measurements dont change get some 2x4 steel tubes and replicate the general frame shape, you can hammer a straight section of this tubing into the frame under the cab for alignment and extra strength as well , order new spring perches and whatever else you need from trail-gear.com and you have a SOLID tough frame you dont have to worry about again
you wont have to go this route ever if you pressure wash the inside of your frame out and spray tonnes of oil inside,
another trick i have seen is to cut big circles on the underside of the frame in the flat spots and weld in big holed washers around the hole to allow dirt/salt and crap to be washed out, preventative frame maintainance is the key
if you have a 90-95 toyota there are little plugs on the back lower side of the cab that allows access to the insides of the rocker panels, always a good idea to open up and spray the heck outta that area with oil unless your panels already have holes in it

go get a welder, and weld new pieces of steel on. that truck looks beat to hell, and in my opinion, you're better off parting out and starting off with a new one.
