repair panels

Hi guys
Has anyone had any dealings with this company www.alfaparts.net ? I was in contact via email with them regarding some repair panels for my 4Runner . I have now got no contact with him via email and can not get a phone conection from UK to work .
I am over in USA in October and thought I could get the panels sent to my hotel and bring them back to UK in luggage or send them airmail .
If anyone knows these people are still in buisness or anyone else who does repair panels could you let me know as I need to weld my truck up for the MOT (saftey ticket ) .
Thanks

i have checked that site out a few times, their prices seem pretty steep for a litle bit of tin. have you tried looking for a donor truck in a junk yard?

Yeah , I have that site aswell . The problem is in the sill area ( the panel that runs under door ) as it is called over here . The rust has eaten through in the corner by the door and side panel . I had a warning from the tester last year that he would fail the MOT this year as the holes are too near the seat belt mountings .
I could make up some patch panels but some have already been welded there so the area is looking shabby and dont want to make it look worse . I want to cut out the rot and weld in some pre made repair sections .

OK , thanks again for your help . I can fab up the rear bits fine , its where it goes inside the door shut I need some difficult shaping I thought the repair panels might cover .
May make some templates up and heat some steel plate and beat it to shape .

Much appreciated , I will have a good dig at the rust and see how far it goes . Both sides need to be done , just dont want to weld to high up the sides as the paint colour is not mixing well (to dark) of the paint code and would end up very patchy . I was going to paint the new sections matt black stone guard to help take the knocks .
I will get back to you if I need those panels
Thanks

Slacker how much in US dollars is it for the right and left front section, wheel arch section, and rear section for the bed on an '88 Pickup? Basically I need to replace the complete sides on each side of the bed. The pricing on the website you link to is confusing.
