I had to go back through the tread before commenting. I think it was my cousin who pointed that out back in February but thought somebody here did. I don't know the relation to Evil Knievel and this plane or why its painted up this way. I'm betting the owner now doesn't know also. It's weird. I think this property is owned by an investor or maybe a relative of the previous owner. It used to be a farm stand I think. I never thought this was an actual plane though, ehh what could go wrong 😁

Nice ocean view.
Today we took the 4runner to the beach. This day in December a bunch of my VW friends get together at Westbrook Town beach for one last Hurrah. I Was planning on taking a VW but yesterdays snow had a lot of salt put on the roads. It was a slightly challenging ride with the ice sheets flying off the cars in front of us and wind gusts. Side to side winds weren't so bad it was the head on wind trying to stop the little 22RE towing all that extra steel added on to the frame ( ARB bumper, sliders rear after market bumper and that extra weight of the roof) lol. Nice day for it though.
From sundown to sun up back to sundown . I'm driving it as my daily now for a little while since I'm working different shifts this week with things the way they are currently. I'm planning some snow wheeling tomorrow morning. The parking lot may not be getting plowed at work but nothing new for us night guys 😉 I'll just plow my way in Thats all.
oh yeah I almost forgot that today is the two years anniversary of Black Beard joining us. A fun little seaside town. Also a site for filming an episode of Bewitched.

I needed to get out for a real drive today. We took a fun route through Suffield CT into Agawam MA through rt 57 West. I haven't been out there in years. Fun winding roads and steep hills. Great course with a lifted truck😉.
I posted these photos as Iceland on FB. Love driving around the world, lol. It's actually just north of Colebrook CT someware in Massachusetts still. This spot I always post as Germany on FB.
On route 44 in New Hartford we saw another old Yota going in the opposite direction . He's was like "is that an old Yota ?" And I was like is that an old Yota? He was waiving and I was honking. That doesn't happen often.

Just another regular day of daily driving 😉
When out driving doing regular everyday things like Christmas shopping with the oldest vehicle in the lots we saw some deer on the way home.
I started my day with a big buck right in my neighborhood.
We got another 1985!
A few photos from a quick stop at Mansfield State Park for lunch time. The sign on the road leading in said itvwas closed due to water over the road. I was like " challengeexcepted "😂 lol but they put up a gate. Oh well.
We did try this old 4 wheeling road that I've been noticing the gate is open! Ahhh it used to be so fun back in the day when a buddy and I used to do stupid stuff with his old 2WD full size pick up . I saw an 80s Toyota, in the 80s doing it's thing in a huge mud pit. Now it's just a little dirt road leading to somebody's house. Booo! It looks nice though. No need to lock in the hubs. The other side is said to still have some trails . I'm gunna have to go back there. Lots of fun.
I ended the day with another desalting and applied another can of fluid film. More like touching up the coat slathered on from long ago. I try not to remove any if I can. Its good stuff. I was able to remove 8mm bolts and several others underneath it without snapping them. I've had issues with newer vehicles, thanks to that salt. My only complaint is it smells a lot like cow manure.
