Exhaust is fixed. It smells and sounds better now. I cheated, just bought new ends for the exhaust. Cut and welded the new end on but couldn't get to the top so JB Weld to the rescue. Need to remove the down pipe and get to it in the near future.

Cruising with the ol 4runner today. Its about time for the hard top but I'm really glad to have the new softop especially since I figured out how to put in on when not in full sun.

I finally got around to adding the starter relay
here it is 5 years larger so that's nice. I also added an auxiliary fuse block to the battery to add the fuse for that relay, the headlight harness and relays fuse plus the duel horn relay. Next a relay for the old school fog lights.

Neat, when I finally got around to doing mine I could notice a more snappy response turning the key, maybe placebo but mine was actually having issues intermittently it’s good you got it done though.

Reminds me I need to do a fuse block, I’ve been putting that off for a while. Currently my red top has top and side posts so I bought a side post adapter that works really well but it still is a bunch of crap on my battery. What fuse block did you put in? Any pics?

I just went with a cheap evil bay fuse block. Not in love with it because the terminals are spade connectors not screw in like my son's. May change it to something better.

As for fast the key response is im actually shocked 🤣 as to how fast all that works your basically going through two relays to spin the starter. Cool. This was a must on the corrolla though. When my son bought it thy hardwired a button to bypass the key switch and that was iffy on hot days.

Well if I actually get around to it I’ll let you know what block I go with, I would also like some posts rather than spades, finding a good place to mount is also annoying, by that I mean a place my OCD can handle…but functionality might have to come before looks as the options are slim I would really like to get a block with posts and relays built in but then they get really big. Eh that may be a spring/summer project.
