Timing is everything! Great shot. I love what you did with them stripes. I know somebody makes the Decals but I bet your way was a better price. Now i'm considering that idea.

A few photos from our first trip to vermont this season. It's a gorgeous ride through Coleraine MA, except we had crackhead Kathy behind us road raging because there was traffic in front of us slowing us down. Normally, I would just pull over so they can pas but there were so many people in front of us that didn't make much sense anyway. Then people in modern cars don't give it any gas till they get to the top of the hill so the 4runner had to struggle up this monster of a hill when the speed limit changed to 40 at the top. With that same traffic in front of us, I have to let off getting on the highway with this thing.I mean, come on 100 horsepower and I have to let off so people can get on the highway at forty five?
This was long overdue, I finally put the hub caps back on. No chance of salt now I guess. The landcruiser wheels needed a real bad polishing. They keep getting filmy. May have to put a clear coat on them sometime.

Sweet! I realized today Black Beard needed and oil change so got that done before we set out today. Apparently NAPA no longer carries Castrol. Another reason I won't be shopping there anymore. Last time they claimed they don't except oil for recycling . our town used to take it but 3 local auto places were where we were supposed to go now. The other 2 always said that the tank was full. My thinking is since I came to NAPA with a rusty old Jeepster last time they were like " no we don't want that oil "

I’ve heard “the tank is full” from O’reilly’s. I go next door to Tractor Supply and it’s no problem. I get my Castrol from Walmart usually.
Out and about in the 4runner around Barkhampstead today. 2 bear cubs spotted in the woods then frogs in the most unlikely place. Pickeral frogs apparently like grassy areas.
We haven't been out to Blaze Pizza in Stores CT and Mansfield Hollow in a while so last night we went. My wife was wearing the proper attire Cool old truck
Oh I'm gonna regret it tomorrow in the AM but we took a little trip up to Vermont right after work today and hiked from the Gifford welcome station through the Broad Brook river then up the hill to Fort Dummer State Park in search of the massive bull frogs in the quarry pond.
A younger couple at the welcome station really liked the 4runner and pointed out that there was a cell phone on the front bumper. Its one of my wife's older ones that she uses around the house. It stayed on there from Connecticut to Vermont ! That's because the 4runner floates like a Beemer 😂
