Getting my 80 today!

I'm new to the forum but I thought now would be a good time to post my first post. I am trading my 1985 Cherokee Chief for a 1980 Hilux (I was told they were still called Hilux in the 80's but I'm not sure). I get to pick up the truck today!!!!! Its not running right now but I'm going to get AAA to pick it up and take it somewhere I can work on it. I think it just needs a little tlc and elbow greese before this thing is truely a monster
Well without further adieu

Thanks! I think I may repaint it though, but I am thinking about keeping it that yellow color.

Very Cool. Another first gen, especially a round eye is always welcome (headlights)

Cool truck, you're goona love it. I have an 81, had it for 20 years and its been through a pile of transformations. I'll never sell it. My son has already claimed it when he is old enough. Have fun.

Thanks. I wound up not being able to get it today because the POS Cherokee that we were trading it for wouldn't start so we had to order a part for it but it should be in tomorrow. I hope!!
