Blower Motor only working on low help!

Blower Motor only working on low help!

I have and 81 pickup and the blower motor only works on low i was wondering if there is a resistor pack that could be causein the problem if so does anyone know where it is??

yep , sounds like the resistor ..

it's held in with a single screw (philips head) on the drivers side up by the emergancy brake handle ... it has a 4 prong wire plugged into it ..

well thats alot of help maybe ill try that sometime! and for everyone else thanks for the advice i found one at the local parts store twenty bucks works like new!

Sounds like my problem too, Ive got high and middle but no low, the same thing happened on my 88 and it was the resistor, I just havent made it that far in the 82!

Mine only works on the last two, high and the one just before it. I keep meaning to replace the resistor but it's just not high on the priority list, since it does still work at least.
