Here is a list of those who attended:
Corey 2007 FJ Cruiser
Chris (Tofer) passenger with Corey
Jim (mytruck) 1984 Toyota truck
Mark from WATTORA (The Raisin) 2000 Tacoma
Just some exploration today, but there is really never enough time to explore everything you want to.
Jim and I met up with Tofer at the Enumclaw Safeway, and he was going to ride with me since his 4Runner is down right now.
A few nice Jeeps showed up, then a Toyota.
It was Mark (The Raisin) from WATTORA for a Naches Trail run.
He came along with us, and we took the 70 exit (I passed it while yakking with Chris, can not multitask
) so we and Mark turned around to meet Jim down on 70.
Our goal was to go all the way to the end of the 10 mile blacktop until we hit dirt then explore a bit.
I had not been up that far on 70 in years.
Mark showed us one of the entrances to the Naches, and Tofer hopped in with Jim to ride with him.
I did not want to take my rig out on the Naches yet, but will some day.
They drove for about 20 minutes each way until they got to the cabin up there.
I am sure someone got some cool pictures of it.
The trail was very passable from what was conveyed to me later, and I could of made it through without a scratch.
Still it would be hard if there was traffic coming towards you as you can not just pull off to the side on that trail with it being narrow.
The whole time we were still in communication via the CB, they were below me on my right.
I shot a few pictures of Mt. Rainier while I waited up there, and explored the area on foot some, and drove a little bit on a trail you can see in picture number 5.
When they came back we decided to stay on 7080 and take it over the pass and on down to highway 410 which is on the other side of Chinook Pass.
It dumps us out into the Eastern side there.
Mark came a way with us, then veered off to explore and later setup camp since he was spending the night up there.
Coming backup Chinook Pass Jim and Chris got some excellent pictures of Mt. Rainier, I did not, so they will turn up later in this thread.
Had a great time, but next time I go I want to do some more exploring of some side roads to look for some nice trails to go on.
The time just goes to fast up there.
The ARB fridge/freezer served its purpose once more by serving up some ice cream bars when they go back from doing part of the Naches Trail.
Had a great time, and it was nice to finally meet Chris (Tofer) and also Mark from WATTORA as I have seen him post over on WATTORA many a time.

Corey... I just got signed up here on Yotatech. It was great to wheel with you guys today. I did some exploring on the eastern side but alot of the roads were closed due to the fire over there last week. I did not camp and ended up driving home late Saturday night. I forgot my camera at home so no pics from me.

Love that area. Looks like Tofer is wasting no time getting back into WA wheeling. I'm going to plan a trip up there next Summer and tow my rig up to play with you guys.

I always have fun when we go to Greenwater.
It was great to run a portion of Natchez Trial, and see Gov't Meadows.
Thanks to Raisin for leading the way!
