Talking Greenwater Area Mini Run

Joey and I (Ducky) Went out on a mini run on the 24th and 26th to go explore the forestry roads.... Here is Joey's report...

"Basically Ducky and I went up to Greenwater this past weekend on two different days. We pretty much explored all of the forestry roads from number 71 - 75. Basically drove down them till either we got stuck by snow, or came to the end of the road. Then on the way back down the road, we would explore most of the smaller trails that branch off. I don't know, but it seems like a lot of what was open a year ago has already been closed. Either that or I have yet to go to the end of all these trails. Either way though, at the end of most of these trails, you can see that they used to continue on, but that they have put in some tank traps and it has started to get over grown. Pisses me off. How are we supposed to enjoy our countries beautiful scenery if we can't even get there. Blah..."

Joey and I plan on going to Walker Valley next... dunno when.. =)

Here are some pictures Joey took:

Nice pics.
Greenwater is my favorite place to go.

I have only explored 70, 73, and 74, and the Buck Creek roads.
As far as I know, nothing has been tank trapped on 70 except for a few small campsites that are right off the road.

Use to be able to back my tent trailer I had right next to the river.
The forest service claims that the logging company Plum Creek that has the rights up there did a lot of that to prevent vehicles from parking and dripping oil into the river.
I don't know about that.

FS 70 is where you will find the most trails that branch off into other trails that are a blast to go on.
