[CO] Twin Cone - Great Day!
Just got back a little while ago. Havn't download pics yet - but thought I'd start a post about the day.
We had a great day running Twin Cone Peak trail - which brings you to the top of north twin cone peak at an final elevation of about 12,360. The views were great and the trail is a decent moderate trail with some rocks to play on and a good steep loose hill that can give you some fits.
Weather was perfect, and actually a little brisk at the top.
So thank you to all of you who showed up and we had a great time - will post pics soon!

Hey saw you guys rolling out this morning! Lookin good! I live in the Bailey area, and was coming back from dropping my brother off at work. Passed you going opposite you right after you went past Pine Junction. Would've joined you, but just got my 4.88's in, and am still in the break in period. Just thought i'd say it was great to see good lookin trucks rolling together like that! You had a great day for it.

Yeah, that's me. You probably also saw the ridiculous stickers on the sides. I went through a phase in High School, and now i can't peel them off without some major time and effort. I hope to get em off soon.

Yeah, I actually talked to digger. He got the day off work and everything but bowed out at the last minute - Father's Day and all I guess.
Outlaw27 (Travis) lives 3 houses down from me in my Cul-de-sac. Guess he was out of town.
As far as twin cone - I'd say it was moderate to difficult in places. You wouldn't have had a problem in your runner - except if you would have tried the right hand line up the steep hill - without a locker might be pretty hard. Great trail though.

I wish i would have went now. Dad didn't really want to go that day, so i figured i would stay home. He wants to go a couple times before he moves to virginia, so count me in next time, as long as i can get off work. Jake haven't seen you in a while, truck looks quite a bit different. Looks good. You guys planning anything for maybe this saturday or next sunday????? I'm pretty sure im off.

Digger, wuzzup man? This weekend . We're going camping, don't know where yet. You can bet though, that it will involve some wheeling. We'll keep everyone posted, maybe we could meet up.
Thanks for the compliment, been working on it.
