The new ones don't break as easy as an old one, plastic gets brittle with age. Don't put it off, the carnage from a fan letting loose at high rpms can be expensive.

If I remember correctly (IIRC), I was careful to "clock" the arm (brass colored plate) on the new motor the same as the old one. If you didn't do that you might have to work at it to get the wipers...
