Another bug I had was the speedometer "bounce". Once in a while the speedometer would "bounce" between 0-40mph when the Runner wasn't moving. Most of the time it was right after starting her up after sitting for more than 24 hours. Eventually it got to be an everyday thing, and it would interfere with the transmission (wouldn't shift when going down the road when the speedo read "zero") So, after consulting Yotatech, I found the electronic speed sensor (top-right in this picture) and took a 12mm wrench to it. After unplugging it & unscrewing the black electronics, and taking the whole thing apart, I found a small clip (I think someone called it an "owl" clip) that didn't seem to be clipped properly into the magnetized cam. I cleaned it all up and flipped over the o-ring, and reinstalled it. 20 minute repair. No more speedo bounce (to date!) Thanks, Yotatech.
