clean & shiny! Although she was kept in the garage most of her life, I used finish restorer and a clay bar to clean her up and restore her shine. Now I just use Nanowax ($4, blue spray bottle.. carnuba wax) and a microfiber pad to do the once-over every month or so after a washing. I never really need to "wash" the Runner here in San Jose. It just gets dusty once in a while. It never really rains, snows, or anything.. just road grime, really. A quick spray with the hose and a wipe down. Nothing like Michigan. Or Portland, for that matter.... but once in a while during late summer I will have to wipe off the ash from whatever fire is burning in the mountains surrounding Silicon Valley. I keep her in a lighted carport behind a gated condo community.
