Second Shop Plans Approved by the City!

Well, it's been several months planning but I'm building a second shop on my own property and had the plans finally approved today (initial set) by the City of Upper Arlington.

Had to do some tweeking but the plans ended up being 24'x36' with a rear roll up door to pull all the way thru. 220 electric and plenty of lights with a heated concrete floor.

My big shop is filling up with space and we are going to start a second Ftoy this fall so this second shop will be KEY for keeping the big shop space open.

Just had to share...sooo stoked.

Breaking ground the first of the month

A heated concrete floor? What the heck is that for? So your tires and tushy don't get cold?

Well, since it's at the house and my wife will be using it..yup. House already has a boiler for the old style heat (built in 42) and just gonna add on to it with valves to plumb the concrete. New shop is going to get attached to the house. Will at least get to keep the Ftoy at home now.

Cool, my brother lives in Columbus (Reynoldsburg), I go there a lot, I should swing by some time.

How many beers to weld on a set of sliders and fix my busted towhook/frame nut up front?

Depends on how many beers it takes you to weld it If you want one of us to do it, then a 12 pack should do. Come down and visit us anytime. We are at the main shop everynight from about 5-11 pm or so (Summer Hours Now)

All weekend also.
