turn signal relocation, custom winch bumper

Alright everybody, I've got Armorology installing a bumper on my 2003 Tacoma. it will be outfitted with a Warn XD9000i winch. We're trying to figure out how to mount the turn signals. The obvious idea would be to relocate the turn signals into some appropriate sized/shaped ports on the bumper, but clearance behind the bumper is an issue. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm still trying to figure the whole concept out in my head. If anybody has done anything like this, please enlighten me

have you considered making the corner lights act as blinkers?

That was one of the options we discussed. I think it'd be cool.

yeah they do. that would definitely be the easiest way if you're willing to modify the corner lights.

Hey Jeremey, you realize that layton put his fogs where the turn signals were and moved his blinkers up to his corner lights? He'd have a good idea on how to do it.

Check out this write up http://www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/...nal/index.html I used sftermarket marker lights for a while on my 2nd gen and it would go from blinking fast to slow, this works great, all you need is a drimel and the 1157 bulb and socket, buy the one at carquest, (the same as in the pic)they work best good luck

Hey Ric, I lost you on the cel. Tell you what though, those motorcycle lights look great! I'll pick the stuff up and give you a holler when I'm in C-Springs. I'd rather install my own than pay Jed to do it...I'm already paying for his vacation, lol!
