Expedition Camper - sleeping solution

This is just too cool
Check out the bed setup that my buddy Steve has been working on. And while you are there, check out the sweet flip-arm LCD screen that he is using with his computer/GPS moving maps.

This guy does lots of long-range trips all over the western deserts and mountains, and he and his wife basically use their Tacoma as their "home away from home" when they are out in the boonies. I know he's really going to enjoy being able to leave all of their bedding/pillows set up when they break camp. Too cool! This video just shows the initial stage of his camper redesign, but he is also adding a swing-out 60L fridge/freezer (like mine) and putting his water tank back in there too (a larger one though). I believe he has already re-installed his auxiliary battery and air compressor. I can't wait to see the finished project

but does he lose vision in the rear view mirror? I think it looks sweet, and I don't have a taco myself, but some quick questions that popped into my mind were about the rear view mirror, and if it can support his weight.

Thanks for the replies:
Lets see if I can answer the Qs
I got a chance to sleep in my truck on a trip into the east Mojave last weekend. The bed worked find for both my wife and me to get a good nights sleep. In fact it much better since there is more room to sleep.
The computer has been set-up like that on the last 4-5 trips, and I real happy with that. I picked up a water-proof (hence dust proof) roll-up key board. Need to work out a place to stow this. :-)
Since this is a work in progress project, I need to work on my other camping gear. Last weekend I had to unload almost everything except the truck gear.
Anthony, that's not talking, that acting.
Ha Ha Your right, I just felt I needed to explain, but I guess it's not worth the download time.
Oly, nice set-up you have, it alot like my first set-up. Since you can see from the video, I'm a big guy and with my wife also sleeping back there, Room-is-King. Before either my head or my feet hit, now they don't. BTW Oly I had a 700W inverter in my truck and didn't like it because it drew 1 amp weather I was using 110 power or not. I'm much happier with the 150W unit I run now. But thats just me.
About the rearview mirror, that was gone by day-2 or 3 of buying the truck, and I've looked back since.
Let me explain. The very first thing my truck needed was to have radios installed, since I'm not a big fan of the little clips that mics use, I was using a hook-loop style mount before the monitor was installed. Also my exCab has the rear seats removed and a storage shelf built there, so with gear put there, the rearview would not have worked anyway.
I'm hoping Baja will add a pic of my truck gear storage and the platform hinge. So if you want recheck his site again in a few days.
If you have more Qs please ask.

There is one more picture added to;

That shows the platform hinge setup.
Yes. I've not seen any inverter without a switch. Maybe the 50w or less units??
