Birfield eliminator kit vs longfields???

which would you guys go with, and do you have any opinions on either or experience with these set ups.

Sky sells the eliminator kit for 399
trail gear sells the longfields for 665

A friend of mine has an '85 4runner with the Longfields, and I don't think he would have anything else. Evidently, they have a lifetime warranty, so once it's done, it's done. Sorry, I don't really know from personal experience.

http://www.longfieldsuperaxles.com/graph.html

Look at that graph. Considering it shows the Longs as being stronger than a 35 spline 60 which is stringer than a 44 which is what the birf eliminator kit is, I'd say longs. Like stated lifetime warranty on them no questions asked. I think only 44 or so Longs have been broken from what i read on pirate.

Longfields hands down. I have them in both my 85s.

Get the chromoly hub gears or drive flanges too so you will be fully covered.

If you dont go over 35's you wont really need longs but ide still go with them because they will never break and you wont have to worry about your axles. The BIK is a joke and is weaker than a stock yota birf. same with all dana 44's.

30 spline Longfields. Get them direct from the link above or Front Range Offroad - cheaper than TrailGear, $645 last time I checked.

x2 on the cromoly hub gears

-1 on stock birfs being OK with 35's. Maybe 33's, but if you have a SFA and wheel it much at all, you better have $ set aside for Longfields at some point.

30 spline Longfield prices are set by Longfield and the same across the board wherever you order them. The price went up about 3 to 4 months ago or more.

They are $665/set
