These things are ugly. I dont know if I really like them too much on my truck. Maybe I just have to get used to them.

Yes, I forgot the center caps. I bought some new ones though.

I got all 4 for $100, and they are in frigging PERFECT condition. I bought them from a off-road shop who were just getting rid of them.

I need some opinions... I dotn know why, but, the truck looks kinda silly. I think its something to do with all the chrome? Should I buy a black bumper? Should I take off the silver flares? Please help me.

 

Looks good, but ya I'd take off the silver flares...and either paint the other chrome or get black bumpers

 

I think the rims look great. But then again, I have the same ones so ofcourse Im gonna like'm.

 

I think it looks badass. I would lose the silver fender trim and get some black fender flares.

 

yeah, black rims are NOT ugly, and those look WAY better than the silver stock ones. Black steel rims look utilitarian, like you actually use your truck. I see so many lifted chevy's and dodges with shiny silver rims, and the truck is all shiny, and they've never gotten it off the pavement. Great choice!

 

nice rims!!! get rid of the silver trimming as i just took mine off of my tundra -nice and clean. Paint your chrome bumper to match the body-pearl white?

I just read on the tech articles that I can paint the chrome fender flares black. I might try that.

You cant tell from the pix, but my front bumper on the drivers side is pretty banged up, so I'll probably save up for a new black stock bumper ... They are only $75 on ebay (plus 40 shipping). I dont have enough money for a TJM or ARB. I was thinking about getting a custom, but, I donno.

What is weird, is that the black rims somehow make my tires look SMALLER . I dont get it.

They are still growing on me though.

Do what Christian ( <96Runner> ) did on his 96 and paint your bumpers and fender trim black. Looks wayyy better. Nice rig, btw.

 

yea i think that looks sweet. I don't know why, but your rig looks a lot taller than mine. Only thing I could think of is that you have a 2" BL instead of 1, and also your front valence is trimmed.

that looks nice! with an awesome deal at that. I think you'd want to body paint the bumpers or even a flat black all around would look good. Some more off road gears on the rig would certainly help making a statement.

 

You can also get rid of the red and blue "pride" stripes if you are interested. But yeah, paint those flares and you'll be set! Nice!

Those are the same wheels that Discount could never balance. I hope you have better luck!
