Question what to clean wet okoles with?

Use their stuff or is there something else to clean, deoderize and protect (uv)?

Does anyone else have a problem with the odor of them? they STINK!

Michael

Mine stunk for a few weeks at first, then it went away.

I have only used the UV stuff and the deoderizor on mine, no need to clean them yet.

They do get vacc'd every few weeks when I do the whole rig.

I'd stick with their stuff that they sell.

Corey,

We have had the 4runner for about 3 months now, and that smell is the first thing that hits me when I get in. It kinda smells like sour milk. I have attempted to use off the shelf air deoderizers but they do not seem to work.

Where is the best place to get the wet okole products?

Thanks,

Michael

I bought the 3 pack of stuff you use on them direct from them.
www.wetokole.com

They have an 800 #, and they will ship out fairly fast on small stuff like that.

Their deoderizor should fix it.

Very happy with mine other than the odor. And the grey color does not match blue/grey of my '00 4runner very well. Wish they were all back instead of 2-tone, but I did not have a choice, they came with the vehicle when I bought it.

When I got mine, I turned them insideout and then hit them with Febreeze(spelling?) which I got from the supermarket. I just sprayed it on for 2 days and the smell was totally gone when I put them in the Runner. This method really works!

Tick another for loving their Wet Okoles. Made my seats feel brand new again. That "wet suit" smell goes away on it's own after about a month or so. Their products do work well for cleaning and such. I too bought the 3 pack when I purchased mine. Make sure if you do nothing else to get the UV protectent. I have a friend who has had his for about 4 years and they are faded pretty badly. He always parks outside though and has never put anything on them. Shouldn't be a problem if you take care of them.
