Doing Seafoam and need a tip on what tool to use etc...

VERY GENTLY, I broke mine off at the neck the first time I tried it. Then I got to use the pliers to remove the broken part and installed a brand new one.
Now I just take off the hose and use that to suck in the Seafoam.

 

i remove the hose from the intake and put another gas line hose long enough to attach to the intake and pour it in that way and leave the pcv hose dangling. afte i get done i hook up the pcv hose but mine is brand new...last one shattered in chunks when i tried getting it off.

 

Where can I buy a new PVC - day before xmas?

Okay that was too easy, is there a gasket involed here or is it just plug-and-play?

 

I found a smaller vacuum line worked better for my Seafoam treatment. I pulled the line that runs to the charcoal cannister (purge line). Its hooked up to the throttle body, and is nice and long. Even with the small 3mm line, I had to modulate the Seafoam intake to keep the engine running. You don't want to get too much of that stuff in there at one time, it can hydrolock the engine if it fills up a piston.

And that would be the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve.

 

not just pcv ,theres an asortment of vac lines -brake vac,cruise,evap,a/c idle up,p/s idle up,vsv's,.........pcv's too damn hard to get to!
