disable the cold start enrichment?
How would I go about doing this? As of now I am rather sure it is stuck "on" even when I pull the wire to it. My engine is running rich and it has now fouled my plugs. I don't want this to happen again and until I can get another cold start enrichment injector, I am stuck doing this fine tuning. Any suggestions?
BTW - I could use any help since I need to get this fixed as it is my only daily driver as I have my wife's Durango torn apart right now. Thanks!!!!

check out this thread:

YotaTruck1986 has a link to the ECU pinouts for the 22re (of course i wasn't paying attention to what engine you have). if you unhook STJ then the ecu won't be able to tell the cold start injector to turn on.

I know on my 3.0....don't know if this applies...but my cold start injector wires run back to the cold start injector time switch...which then...i guess runs to the ecu. the time switch senses that your motor is cold so it sends a signal to the injector which in turn helps ya start on the chilly mornings. You can OHM the time switch to see if its within specs. The specs are 30-50 OHMS below 50 degrees farenheit and 70-90 OHMS above 68 degrees and thats on V6 and 4 cylinders 1988 and up.
