remove/install wires 22R fuse block

Greetings,

As I attempt to solve some wiring bugs on an '86 p/u I was hoping for some help.
I'm working on the blade fuse (15amp) wires that feed the fuse block by the driver's kick panel.

Questions:
How are the wires removed from the fuse block?
If one side of a blade fuse does not have a wire, but the connector is in the block, how do you get it out?

I've tried pulling gently on the wire while pushing on the other side, but I don't want to break anything.
It feels like there is a tab or something holding it in place that I can't find...

Any suggestions are welcome!
Cheers

Yes, there is a tab that locks those female spade terminals in place so they can't pull out easily from behind. Using a tiny flat head screwdriver from the front can bend those tabs back towards spade so they slide out from the back. Those tabs will have to be re-positioned again so they lock spade back in place when you need to lock them back in.

Yup. Tiniest straight-slot jeweller's screwdriver and good lighting would help.
