94 3.0 L V6 locked up

Hi, I just bought a 1994 3.0 V6 pickup. On my way to work this morning the engine started knocking and locked up. I am looking for info on options for what engine will drop in place of the 3.0L without too much extra work. The 3.0 just seems a bit scarce. Thanks!

The only "drop in" would be another 3.0.
If you were to post your location you may find someone in your area that has one to get rid of.
I will have one to pass on, I'm just not ready for my swap yet.

I have a 3.4 liter v-6 I'll be rebuilding and an entire running Toyota T-100 with a knocking motor that I'll be using for wiring/ecu and anything else I need. I may be swapping the entire engine/trans/t-case and I'm looking into how that might simplify some of the re-wiring needed. I might just take what is needed to run and put it in an ammo can and run power to it. It will still be a couple of years before I get the rebuild done and start the swap. Check out my SAS build thread if your interested. I still haven't figured out how to attach a link. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f199...er-sas-294858/ let me know if this works.
