About 278K. Engine swap though...

And I never realized the 4Runner was a big SUV. Hmm...

Ive seen plenty of 200k+ miles camrys, civics, corollas, and ford cars and trucks. Not sure where they got there numbers but there are WAY more ford trucks and vans around that are high mileage around here than chevy.

BUT there aint no dodges with 200k besides cummins lol..

I have blown a fuse in my 94 Camry. Biggest pain in my as ever. Turns out it was just a hidden fuse panel.

I've got 358,xxx on my 86 4Runner (3rd motor, 2nd trans) and 256,xxx on my 98 Subaru Outback.

It's easier for modern engines to get some high miles. Differences in the oils we use now days, improved engine designs and components make it all possible.

Don't think their statistics are counting a 20+ year old vehicle. but yeah, trucks get driven a helluva lot more than compact cars ( camry, accord, civic, etc etc ) So that's probably why they're at the top of the list. and for some odd reason, here in California, I don't see a lot of dodge work trucks ( mostly fords and chevys )

I wonder if they took into account commercial vehicles like company owned work trucks or even emergency responders' vehicles....I know some ambulance services with over 600k on their trucks and still going.

The reason you dont see dodges around is because they break down ALOT and generally fall apart. I hate chrysler, they make junk! There is a HUGE reason why almost all fleets use GMC/Chevy or Ford. The current article is WAY off base, Im not sure where they got the info from but mitsubishi are just as unreliable and hunks of crap as dodge and aint NO hummers left anymore..aint seen one in years round here!
