Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone had template designs or a good website for pre-cut steel for a DIY ( do it yourself) bumper. I want a flat plate style similar to ARB. Can't afford an ARB but can afford $200 or so in steel! Any ideas? 4th gen 2006 4Runner

You have a idea what you want break out the pencil and straight edge and start drawing .

The design is the most work .

Steel front and rear bumper

I took a video of my front and rear bumper builds. Pretty basic construction, easy to DIY and under $200. Take a look, you might get a few ideas:

I've never seen one....

...build me a bumper that looks identical to OEM but not made of recycled tuna cans. Use the stock bar as your template!

Build it strong to take punishment & last. Plus it is up to you whatever you prefer as far as design. There is a pic of one we have for sale on another thread, may give you an ideal or two? Yes the two mounts are totally boxed for support, since they attach to frame. All made with heavy gauge material. The webs were what took the most time to get close to match 100%.

For those with a newer model & of course deeper wallets, I found this listing. Just another look at what type of design can be done.
