Questions on Cornfed Spacers

I received some Cornfed spacers today and wanted to make sure on two things.

1. The inner ring on the bottom of the spacer is a different height on each one - 3/8" on one, 5/8" on the other. But since this portion sits inside the coil, its not a big deal right?

2. I had wanted spacers to provide 1.5" lift, and no more than that. I was then expecting the top part of the spacers to be about 3/4" tall. The ones I received are 1" tall. Will these give me 2" of lift?

Problem solved. You don't use the stock top plate with the studs in it any longer, that accounts for the 1/4" difference.

I'm expecting the same spcers in the next few days. Can you take a pic for me so I can see how the installation looks close up? I just bought replacement shock mounts for my new shocks as well and wondered if I needed to return them or something.

should give you 1.5 with that, I think that mine (1.5) were the same height couldn't accuratly measure because I'm using them to compensate for the sag on OMEs due to winch and bumper

"The inner ring on the bottom of the spacer is a different height on each one - 3/8" on one, 5/8" on the other"
----don't recall the difference

Hey Tom-

Are you gonna use these with your OME coils, or your old stock ones? Which OME coils? Just wondering...I have 881's that sagged, so I added a 1" CB and it gave me back my lost lift, but it is pretty stiff sometimes, they really only compress about half way to the bumbstops...I'm thinking about taking them off and just putting in some sort of top-out spacer instead.

The other thing to note, which you may already be saavy too, is that the OME shock dust cover will not fit inside the CB spacer. You do have a few choices, though, you can go without, get some bilstein dustcover (the blue ones like Schaefer has in his Frankenstien write-up) or you could pick up some soft rubber shock boots in the color of your choice. I got black ones from Summit Racing, made by superlift...Good Luck!

Well, here's a pic of what I was talking about. It's the thing on the left. Any and all pics that you can take would be fantastic.

Still waiting for those spacers. It's been about 2 weeks since my check cleared and David still hasn't delivered them yet, maybe I should give him a call. Thanks for all your help!

Studs are integrated in to the spacer, so you won'e need that mount.

you don't need it. his spacers replaces the top plate. and depending on how much lift you're getting, it's either cornbred's gasket and then the stock coil gasket or just the stock coil gasket. followed by the coils.

cornfed is on vacation at the moment. i think he will be back next week. i'm not sure about his shipping status though.

Really? Strange. I'm not sure why they would be integrated on 4Runner spacers and not on Tacos.
