94 SR5 Bear rig

Well I finally took the plunge and bought a yota .

Its a fairly stock looking truck with the 3.0 & a 5 spd
I know the gears have been swapped along with the rim and rubber
it started life with 225/70r15 & now wears 31/10.5 on 15x8 aluminum yota rim.
It turns 2500 to do 55 in fifth gear. If I have the math right it has 4.88 gears in the pigs
my goal is to have it be a rock solid little rig for the next several years so I am going to concentrate on getting the best mileage I can out of it and doing some body work . The motor is plenty strong was curious about other folks experience towing with similar rigs I would like to tow a small camper up to bear camp

after driving it a couple weeks and hitting some local trails it handles well good power posi in the axles definitely had the gears swapped. I am looking to change the exhaust ie actually having a muffler and get rid of the cat. I have to fix a starting issue and may have a bad O2 sensor pics will be soon

average mileage is 20-21 time for shocks and brakes all the way around discovered it crawls really well up north chasing bears with the dogs

Sounds like a solid rig. What is your starting issue? I've noticed that mine doesn't start as easily when warm, so now I'm going to get a timing light on it. Just swapped out the distributor. Good luck with the 02 sensor and let us know if it helped out your situation. Happy trails to ya.
