My 1989 5 speed stalls just about every time you put it in neutral or let off the gas when warm. when this happens I hear a clicking sound in the dash glove box area. Any thoughts or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Warm it up, then adjust the idle and timing so it runs properly.
Once you get it idling properly warm, it's time to troubleshoot the cold start / idle issues which most likely caused adjustments to the warm idle settings, and consequently caused the warm idle issues.

Warm Idle issues

I am having the same issue with my 22RE, I have replaced the cold start injector, the temp sensor switch, adjusted the Throttle position sensor, attempted to advance the timing with the jumper wire and I have done a valve adjustment and still no change in the warm idle problem. Frustrated to say the least, I don't know what else to do It only wants to die out when it is warmed up and has problems starting. Any suggestions?
