Idle dying/check engine light
Hi all -
Am trying to help my mechanic since this is my daily driver and he doesn't seem to be as familiar with these old pickups. I have a 1989 standard bed 4x4 pickup with a 22RE in it. My truck has had the check engine light on for about four months now. It has been running OK but my mechanic said that it is running a little lean. He ran a code checking test and came up with the codes 25, 51 and 71. Want to get that light out since I have to smog it next year. That's the first issue.
Second, about two weeks ago I was driving in hot temperatures with a cabover camper on it and out of the blue the engine started dying. It's as if the idle was set too low, you have to keep a little bit of extra gas from the pedal going or the engine dies, and there is a clicking when it tries to die that seems to come from where the factory installed speaker is on the right side of the dash assembly near your legs on the passenger side. He said he replaced the relay but it still does it. He said it might be the fuel pump going out then. Any suggestions or advice I can get from anyone that I can tell him so we can get this solved? I know a lot of you guys are real gearheads and have probably seen this many times before. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Want to keep this old truck on the road! Thanks in advance

iOS 17.2.1 running on an iPhone 15. I have to manually enter my password because Face ID does not function in the app store. I also do not get the "double click" option, but rather, there is an "install button" that I must select. In the face id section of the settings, I have turned on and off the app store.
