Who Sells New Throttle Cables?

My throttle is sticking so I wanted to get a New cable and I have searched all over the place and also the local parts stores. I usually leave the dealership to my last choice except certain things you know. I figured some of you guys have experience this before so I was curious where you got yours... any info is greatly appreciated.

You can try your local junk yard as well. You might be able to find a good one. Or take yours off and try jamming some WD-40 down the cable to try lubing it up. I've had a little success with that on my GMC. If its not sticking bad you should be alright. Mine was sticking horribly. It still sticks but its alot better

It's about $70 at http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...180-35060.html [this one is not the right part for your rig; it's much easier to use their site, and the dealership for that matter, if you supply the VIN).

Note that it depends on whether you have cruise control. Also, remember that you have several cables connecting to the throttle plate (mine has one for throttle pedal, ATM, and cruise). You might want to pull out the suspect cable first to see if that really is the one that is sticking.

i hear ya.. well it rarely does it but when it does it will rev wot and ill have to cut the key switch off before it hits the rev limiter till it frees up. no more than a 2-3 seconds. it doesn't have cruise and its a 5 speed, so theres only one cable on mine.. I have taken it off and messed with it and it all felt good never stuck but it dont do it all the time. I have cleaned the TB and blade good and dont suspect it being the problem. It did it last nite leaving work and gas pedel got hard and i had to stomp it to get it back up. so its dealer ship or toyotapartszone?
