92 toyota maf problem
Ok guys i bought a 92 toyota pickup 22re and it will idle great but when i try to rev it up it just stumbles and dies,if i rev it slow it will rev up.After i searched around here i read to unhook the TPS and try to rev it up and so i did and it revs up,im getting a code 24 and 31.I found some threads with simular problems but they never post the results of what finally fixed it.I checked the fuel pressure and its 42 at idle and stays steady when reving up and the vacume is around 17lbs i really need some advise, thanks for any input.

There is a procedure to test them. I would not spend big money until you test it properly. Money's tight and nothin's free. Check it first with a meter. Something you should have and will use frequently.
It might be a bad connection. Get some electrical contact cleaner and do a little cleaning and make sure all you wires are connected. Eliminate the silly things that are cheap first.

Here's something from another board. However Do not remove the screws.
SeaFoam is a frigging riot! I smoked up my neighbors house really bad. It went right into his swamp cooler. Luckily he's out of town.
I looked the codes up and they pertain to the air flow meter and intake air sensor.
I remember vividly now, removing the screws ( didn't see the wire clip) on the plug for the air flow meter box and tugging on it. By doing that I basically ripped the terminals from the circuit board. I removed the plastic cover from the top and superglued them back on. I still have the codes, but the Runner scoots now!! Instead of paying Toyota $900 or AutoZone $200 for a new one I'm going to take it to a computer shop and have them soldered back on.
Now I've got to tackle the intake air temp sensor.....

Its possible. Thats why you need to perform the checks first. A TPS should be alot cheaper. Also some guys have successfully swapped in other VAFM from a Supra obtained at a junkyard, so no need to pay top dollar. Check the build & swap threads, and scour the junkyards.
Glad you got the meter it will be helpful!
