1985 Pickup 68,000 miles Stock--sold $7500

SOLD

Up for sale is a pristine toyota pickup. Solid axle and the famous 22re motor. You just dont find any trucks like this anymore anywhere. Your looking at 68,562 miles, orignal interior, Almost new paint job that looks great over $3000 spent. This truck looks and runs like a much newer truck. Everything is great shape for being a truck this old. Not cut up or jacked up just a nice original truck. Must see to appreciate. Tires have less then 10,000 miles on them. Has new head gaskets and LCE EFI Pro Camshaft, front end rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago. Interior is perfect except for one small rip in the vinyl on driver's seat. This truck also has a fiberglass bed $2000 as you know all trucks of this year had a horrible problem with rust. Better pics can be found here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/29985130@N04/ This truck gets complements everywhere you take it. You just dont find trucks like this anymore. Call me at 828-342-1035 and take it for a drive. By the time you add up the paint and the bed your getting the truck for only $2500 only two hours north of Atlanta.
Truck is located in Franklin NC 28734. Pick it up and drive it anywhere. Runs awesome. Also have the option of charging this on Visa if you want I would just have to charge a small fee for that. Hate to sale this truck but had to move on to a Subaru Outback. I drove to Kansas to purchase this truck after a year of looking for one like this. $7500

Nice. That's crazy low miles for an 85. I was stoked to find my 90 last year with only 95K miles. Someone must not have driven that much or it sat for a long time. Good Luck

Nice truck! Seeing this one makes me have second thoughts about selling mine. Are the wheels powdercoated?

No there not powder coated. Bought some wheel paint about a year ago and sprayed them. They look pretty good. Small town so I couldn't find anyone to powder coat them I couldn't even find anyone that would sandblast them where I live. I wish I didn't have to sell mine either but my wife had a baby and no room for the car seat. LOL but I love it.

Very nice. Any rust anywhere now that you've replaced the bed?

Can you post some more photos of the undercarriage?

It's a shame you can't keep it. I doubt you will find another like it ever. Too bad you can't just buy a little corolla or something for riding around with the fam. Like others have said, I doubt you will have any issues selling it.

Yeah it sucks having to sell it I had some guy tell me it was only worth 5k and I said well I guess this truck isn't for you then. Really hoping to sell it to someone who how cool it is I had one lady wanted it to haul fire wood in and get gas having no idea that is a kinda rare truck. But oh well I guess the first person with the money gets in no matter what there intent. I will try to get some pics of the under neath soon. Somebody's got to know somebody that needs a great truck..

Might wanna try ebay, I've seen several nice original toyota trucks sell for above average prices.

That would probably be your best bet.

Yeah I will probably put in on there in the next week or so I just hate paying those fee's. But if it sells that would be I guess it would be worth it.

The Ebay fees have grown to be pretty outrageous these days. I sold a camera for $330 and I think I paid close to $25 in fees.
