Lost all my dash gauge lights, the fuse is fine, the clock, and radio are functioning - any place else I should be looking at? '94 runner 3.0 5sp

does yours have one of the dimmer switches, could be disconnected maybe or just turned down, something to check

see if you have heater control panel lights, and that they dim up and down with the dimmer switch.

if they're out, it may be that switch. if the clock doesn't dim with lights on, it may be the headlight switch.

if they work fine, and it's just at the gauge cluster, pull the top of the cluster off and check the three plugs at the back of it. if someone has pulled that cluster out in the past, a connector may not be seated.

good luck!

the clock light does not dim with the lights on, and I get nothing on the dimmer - no heater control lights at all. I did find a blown 15a tail light fuse, replaced it thinking it may have something to do with it. nada. Where is this headlight switch?

Same thing happened with my 87 pickup...turned out to be a wire for the tail lights shorted out, i believe the dash lights are on the same circuit as the tail lights on my truck anyway... good luck

Pull both tail light bulbs and check the sockets for corrosion, I had a corroded socket and it was popping a fuse on me.

Also, the fuse panel itself can get broken - there's a bunch of flat circuits behind the fuse panel that are sort of easy to damage, I busted one of mine when inserting a fuse tap and had to get a new (used) fuse panel. (My dash lights were knocked out by the broken circuit.)

And the lights popped off again going around a corner - trying to find the offending wire.
