Charged power steering pump now truck won't start

Charged power steering pump now truck won't start

Changed power steering pump now won't start!! checked spark plugs distributor (since you have to remove it to change the p.s. pump) what else should i check?

Take a deep breath and go take a break, then go look at it again and see what you didn't get connected back right. Get that ground back on? All the plug wires to the distributor? Pull the other end loose by chance? It is something simple you are overlooking.

Since you removed the distributor... (even though you didn't have to)...
... did you put it back in the way it came out?

ok slept on it

plug wires reattached to dist. in the right order...... check
plug wires to spark plugs..... check
ground wire reattached..... check
did i ground out the coil prim.res. .5 ohms/ sec.res. 12.8 ohms (no)... check

it's firing it just won't catch.

Why did you remove the distributor to replace the power steering pump ?, ive replaced a couple of power steering pumps on 22RE`s and have never had to remove the distributor.

When you put the dizzy back in did you have the rotor at 12 o'clock by chance?
