any place in california that some one has done the high steer and is down to help me install mine? msg me.

lompoc cali.. 93436. 83 single cab. i bought the high steer kit off low range. just re built both my knuckles. just need to get this installed and ill be set.

its pritty easy to do if you have already rebuilt the knuckles then you can deff install the high steer if you have an ifs truck i dont think you need to move the steering box if you have a push pull box take that off and get an ifs box mount it as far forward as you can

hope that helps it will save you some money if you do it your self install is the same on all the brands trailgear i think has an install page for the high steer

thanks. i understand it i just dont have a welder. thats mainly my only problem lol. and the fact of learning to weld. need grinders to get rid of some stuff to. i just aint the handiess man lol.

Yes, you need to weld on the sleeves and the mounts/bracing for the IFS box after hacking out the stock steering box mount and the torque rod bracket inside the frame rail.
