Old School Differential Training Video

Got this video forwarded to me today. An old school explanation of how an open differential works. I know we all want to put lockers in our axles, but this is a hands on, visual explanation of how an open diff works. I loved the old school, back in the day commentary:

That's pretty cool. I like those old-timey instructional videos and this one broke it down really well.

That was pretty cool...I had an idea how they worked but really didn't know the exact mechanics. Now I know...

Thanks guys, I thought the board would like it.

How many of you, like me, thought during the part about the driveline being in the passenger area, well, just lift the damn thing?

Way before lift kits back then.

Lol. I saw this a few months ago when researching differentials. It's pretty great.

Most of the RWD cars I have driven had the hump...As kids we knew it as the separator. Dad she's on my side...Mom he's touching me...Stay on your own side of the hump or I'll !!! It was really tough after my little sis then there were 3 and the youngest had to sit on the hump.
