Search button not helping... Help me re-gear to 5.29's!!!

I'm brand new to yotatech. I've tried the search button a ton but not finding what i need. So here we go...

I have stock gearing with 33's on my '94 v6. I wanna gear to 5.29 and run 35's but dont am not real saavy on gearing and my trouble is knowing what I need to gear down the front and rear. Need ring and pinion obviously and so far I've learned that i need 8" ring and pinion in rear and 7.5" ring and pinion for the front (Which is a gay design to have two different sizes).

What else do I need to know about the IFS 3rd memeber? Anything? Want to start looking for the right parts but dont know really what to look for? HELP?

Thanks experts

what you need to get is six 4 1/2" supplement locker bearings so the backlash bolts and keepers dont get wacked out when you have your pedal to the metal .

make sure you get the races machined to .0025 at a professional shop.

also be on the look out for some poly spacer bushings they work good on those 7.5" pinion gears you dont want those to get worn out.

You also might want to look into seeing if the flange yoke has been turned lately you dont want to be caught driving down the road with a warped flange yoke.

On mine and you dont have too but I spent some extra cash to be cool and pressed my backlash spacer out and replaced it with a chromoly 4340 sending unit.

good luck man that should cover all that you need

when i was regearing mine.... i found that the cost difference between buying the gears and paying to have someone install them, vs, just buying a 5.29 ready to run 3rd was about 100 bucks... But i was able to keep the old diff as a spare. if i was you, i would buy a 5.29 ready to run with the locker of your choice..

if you want to do the TG ones, let me know, i am a Trail-Gear dealer and can hook you up with TG parts.

to my knowledge nobody sell IFS diffs 5.29 ready to run, so you'll have to buy the new gear set and install kits to make that happen. Or watch craigslist and find someone who SASed after already going to 5.29s. thats how i got my 5.29 TrueTrac frotn 3rd for 250 bucks.
