suspension help
I have a 91 4x4 pickup in desprate need of suspension repair. The truck has the T-bars cranked and has AAL's in the rear. one of my springs is broken due to the aal! I want to run 33x12.50"s im planing on getting bj spacers, relaxing the T-bars, and adding a small body lift. What would be a good rear spring to run to keep the truck even? Ive thought about the OME and shackles or a set of pro comp springs? Ive also looked at downey but shipping is going to kill me

I've heard the best things about OME, good things about Downey, and generally poor things about Pro Comp.
Your plans regarding new springs, bj spacer, etc sounds like a good idea. You obviously have done your research. thanks

I personally like the Downeys as I've had 3 sets on 3 different 4Runners.
As far as the bj spacers I have zero experience so I don't know how much lift you would expect from that. Springs and shackles in the rear will give you quite a little lift.
How you use the truck and what weight you normally carry will have to be considered. I too hear great stuff about the OME's. If I ever do it again I think I'll try the 63' chevy's on the rear. Long springs=long travel but probably not "ideal" for a daily driver.

Yes I've had some sagging issues. Some of it is my fault. My truck's rear bumpstops were never there when I bought it and I haven't gotten any yet. There is nothing back there to keep my springs from going to negative arch when getting twisty.
I got my Downeys in late 2004 and have added another spring to the rear from something, I'm not sure what. Probably old O.E. or an old crappy lift my second truck came with. It also has the Rubicon shackles from Downey f+r. You can't tell very good with those crappy flares it also came with. (rusty underneath)
