3rd gen pickup canopy question
I'm thinking about a new rig after cracking the block on my 4runner. I'm looking at a first gen Tacoma or a 3rd gen pickup, preferably extra cab, but I'm only finding singles in my price range. Anyway I've wanted a truck canopy with contractor doors since the first pickup I've owned. Does anyone know of a brand of topper that would fit either of the rigs I'm looking at? I know a few of the major brands make one for the Tacoma. If anyone has any input that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

but I think Leer and SnugTop both make shells with lift up side windows... and I think SnugTop makes (or at least used to make) one that replaces the tailgate with a swing-open-to-the-side door.

Ive been out of the run for the last 4 years I had a 1st gen 4runner so that was easy to remember, haha.
Thanks for the input. I found a gemtop one that I really like, but its for a ford ranger. Now I just have to look at measurements. Heres what Im looking for in a door setup:

forget the doors... i want the little amber lights on top.
that actually looks like it may have come off of a utility (electric) truck or even railway truck....
I was trying to think of the other major maker that made stuff like that and gemtop was the one I couldn't think of. Leer tends towards shells, as does snugtop, but they've both done more 'work' oriented stuff. Gemtop, as I recall, did a lot more contractor oriented stuff.
Good luck.
