255/85/16 Rig pictures

Ok so I have scoured the yotatech and tried to visualize what my 3rd gen might look like with 255's on it and this is what I have come up with.

The only tough part is deciding btwn

Maxxis Bighorn 33.3 X 10.3
Interco Truxus 32.7 X 10
BFG MT 33.0 X 10
Cooper ST 33.21 X 10.4

I would love for some chime ins on wear on all of these specially on the Truxus, I know with vehicle weight the MT will last some serious time.

Isn't it supposed to be 255/85/16? I've never seen 255/75/16, I have seen 255/75/17 though.

Or the Toyo M55 though it is an E rated tire might be a little stiff. 33.3 X 10.4.

Well according to the research I've done (reading) I think yes. I have already re-geared and would be stepping out of 33.27 X 11.73 into 33.3 X 10. The tires will weight less no doubt and I hope to god they will stop well. Here in Fl it rains allot and that is a main concern. But ExpeditionsWest has a good wrie up worth a read http://www.expeditionswest.com/resea...tion_rev1.html
I have talked with Scott and he seems to think I could benefit from these tires. But time will tell.
