1986 4Runner 22RE 5spd 4X4 w/223kmi.

For Sale 1986 4Runner 22RE 5spd 4X4 w/223kmi. Grey, with grey int. Tons of recent parts and maintenance. The astute among you will notice I have listed this before and then withdrew it. Well I was wishywashy then, but I am ready to let her go. I already have my new 3rd gen. I am listing locally as well at $2500 obo.

Please see the ShoeRunner Profile for lots of detail of the truck. Here is a short list of the maintenance and mods I did. I also have some additional parts that I would like to pass on to the new owner like the old diffs.

MAINTENANCE
- prev owner told me that the timing chain was replaced at 200k
- Steering system (relay rod, tie rods, pitman arm, idler arm, stabilizer)
- suspension (new OEM shocks all of the way around, new leaf springs and bushings)
- changed many fluids (brakes with new rear cylinders and shoes, tranny, diffs, and several oil changes)
- new body mounts
- replaced spare tire mount

MODS
- diffs from an automatic
- 31" Khumos on black Cragars
- Airbox from downey (its got the sucky sound!)
- '06 Scion Pioneer radio
- 2" lift springs (just makes it sit level) from Downey with Poly bushings. The ride and handling are awesome!!! Wow, what a difference!
- Remote oil filter kit from Summit
- Manual hub conversion
- Also including the vinyl top I just paid $500 bucks to have made!
- Tube steps

Any questions please contact me soon at shoe007@hotmail.com or 920-217-0777.

I now have the top back on it. It is going on Craig's list tomorrow and I will be hanging a sign in it locally to start.

bump... still available. What do we need to see guys? I Showed the worst two spots, it is not typical of the rest of the truck. It shows awesome and has great curb apeal, even better if I had ever gotten around to a new rear bumper.

Wow

This looks like my 86 that is also currently on this board, but way nicer. What is the secret to displaying pictures as nicely as you did?

Yes, it is still available. What pictures would you like to see? I will take specific ones if don't already have them.

photo bucket, you can search for it on the board and there are a few write ups already on how to post. It is free and fairly easy.

thks, I actually had it made locally. I am only partially happy, cause I went round and round with the shop, but I definitely like the tonneau format.

Well fellas, it is done. The old beast is now burning someone else's gas. I think she found a good home and will be pounding down hunting trails this winter instead of commuting to work through stoplights.
