Best brake pads for drilled/slotted rotors?

Been doing a little research on brakes and I have a question. I have a 1988 4Runner, 22RE, 5spd. I'm going with the LC Engineering slotted/cross-drilled rotors in an effort to avoid the warping I've had on the last couple sets of stock rotors. I generally drive in the city, lots of stop and go, sometimes have to slam on the brakes. This has led to my warping problem.

My question is: What's the best type of pad to use with these rotors?
Thanks, Craig in NC

Ceramic. They chatter a little but they are excellent stoppers & extremely resistant to heat fade.

Exclamation dont use ceramic rotors

they heat up to much and have been the cause of rotor replacement, alot of toyotas have this problem but ceramic rotors were a big factor causing mine to warp

Yea Ceramic rotors are bad, but Ceramic Pads are good.

Drilled and slotted rotors will not improve your braking performance at all. They will not prevent warping. Why do you think that they will ?

Regarding pads, the EBC 7000 series are second to none.

Yes you should. You will need new races and bearings and inner oil seals.
