Anybody ever try Lucas gear oil?

I was looking at my bottle of Lucas Heavy duty oil stabilizer, and it says on there you can add it to your transfer case, and transmission to stop abnormal noise, and to add protection to heavily used trannys (towing, etc). I went on their website and it shows that they manufacture a 80w-90 weight gear oil, that has their additives in it. Has anybody ever tried this or their heavy duty oil stabilizer in your gearboxes?

I used to use it, but I was unsure of any unseen help it might be giving me, and definatly didn't notice anything. If you're using a quality oil in the first place, it shouldn't be neccessary. But I don't think it hurts anything.

I think there's more indept info on bobistheoilguy.com

I used it in my truck and recked up 520,000 miles and the cat dealer said there was no need to redo the main bearings since then i run it in everything icluding both of my harleys and oil stablizer with every oil change

I use it in every oil change. I have also used it in my tranny. the tranny shop told me that I needed a new trans., as it was slipping very bad, and I mean bad. A person told me about LUCAS, and I tried it in the trans. 3 years later, it was still going strong. When I sold the rig, it was still going. I think it is one of the best products money can by, and I will aleays use it in every car or truck I own.

after having read that, I remember why I stopped using it, other than it's expensive.
