check for vacuum leaks and check your timing.

Check your idle cut solenoid on the back side of carb. has one or two wires going to it, if it is bad it wont idle . The fix is to remove it and with a pair of cutting pliers cut the brass portion off and reinstall it. You will need a 12 mm wrench to remove it make sure you do not lose the copper washer .

make sure your vacuum switches are connected to something at the other end. When your switches are cold, they are closed and vacuum ends there. when the engine warms up they open up. if they are open to the air you'll have a vacuum leak when they warm(open) up. in other words check for vacuum leaks.

another good one is the idle cut solenoid.

ARQ.

that's my guess as well. when it doesn't have power going to it, the solenoid closes the idle circuit and the engine won't run(or run poorly). when the engine is cold the choke flap is closed and may be pulling fuel from the main circuit, which is why it runs when cold but dies when warm.

and to disable the solenoid, you can just remove the little o-ring on the tip of it

thanks guys. That was the problem and now it's fixed. You know, this is not even my truck (anymore). I sold it to this guy a almost 2 years ago, who is a friend, and told him everything that is wrong and that he would have top invest some money to fix it up.. The guy hasn't put a f------ dime into anything but tires and has proceded to beat the sh-t out of it and then ask me why stuff is breaking down on it. Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest. Thanks again.
